Opposition Against Jonathan ‘So Much, It’s Unbelievable’, Says Ankio Briggs

Opposition Against Jonathan ‘So Much, It’s Unbelievable’, Says Ankio Briggs

A prominent Niger Delta rights activist, Ms Ankio Briggs has attributed corruption in the country to bad leadership.
Ms Briggs, who spoke at an intercessory prayer meeting organized by a group known as Christians in Politics Prayer Network for President Goodluck Jonathan in Port Harcourt, Rivers State yesterday, called on Nigerians to pray fervently for God’s intervention in the country.
“In Nigeria today, we need God. We have been governed in the wrong way as a people. There is still corruption in the system. Things are not the way they are supposed to be. That is why we need to go God. Nigeria can change; Niger Delta can change if we go to God in prayers. I think we cannot be pretending about the government of Nigeria. Things have really gone bad”, she said.
Ms Briggs, who is one of the leaders of the National Summit Group, also decried the rising opposition to Mr. Jonathan’s 2015 presidential bid and expressed optimism that those who are the president’s second term ambition will fail.
“We definitely cannot pretend that a South-South man is the president of this country. We cannot pretend that Nigeria was governed by people from a particular region in Nigeria for more than 36 years. We now have a man from another region that has been there for only two and half years and the opposition against him is so much, it is unbelievable”, she said.
Earlier, the coordinator for the Network, Pastor Solomon Ikpesa, said the intercessory prayer was initiated to bring the finger of God to bear in the affairs of Nigeria politics, leadership and governance.
“Our drive is that only one with the fear of God rules Nigeria. Our mission is enforcing the will of God in government through teaching and prayers. We are not militants, but we are powerful in prayers. Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds in this country. This is a political Tsunami; it will wipe away wicked rulers. We must entrench the fear of God. We have about 50 pastors that come together every Tuesday for this purpose”, he said.

At Last, Prophet TB Joshua Defends Jim Iyke’s Spiritual Deliverance

At Last, Prophet TB Joshua Defends Jim Iyke’s Spiritual Deliverance

The revered man of God has come out to defend the much-maligned deliverance of Jim Iyke Which took place at his church.

After keeping mum for some months, apparently allowing Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, to prove his spiritual maturity, the man in the Synagogue, Prophet TB Joshua, has come out to defend the much maligned actor who got delivered spiritually at his church, the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN.
While many disbelieved the fact that Jim Iyke is truly a born again, going by his antecedents, with some saying a leopard can never change its spots, the Prophet thinks it can and that Jim is actually a changed man.
He recently told Punch Newspaper in an interview when asked about the issue of Jim Iyke: “Oh please, don’t drag me into that. All I can say is that if a person needs to see a doctor, he should be free to do so. I like the young man.
“He has been defending himself on the internet. Is he not enjoying a better life now? Are things not working for him?”
Truly things are working well for Jim Iyke these days and I dare say the Prophet knows what he is talking about.

D’Banj To Set Up Cocoa Farm In Ghana

Afro Pop star, D'banj is set to venture into some new business. Guess what? It's cultivating Cocoa!

One thing with Nigerian international music star, Dapo Oyebanjo, the one we all love to call D’Banj, is that his business acumen is so sharp and he is gradually spreading his wings into several pies and, from what we gather, is set to go into cocoa farming in Ghana.
He is taking on business steps his contemporary may think is demeaning but being the bright entrepreneur that he is, the Koko Master’ has finalized plans to go into cocoa farming big time next year and was in Ghana to hold talks with some the biggest players in the industry, with a view to setting up a ‘Koko Farm’ in the country.
This is surely a good step for our celebrities to follow.

“Stop Using My FB Page To Dupe People” – Pastor Adeboye Warns Fraudsters

“Stop Using My FB Page To Dupe People” – Pastor Adeboye Warns Fraudsters

General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church Of God has cried out to fraudsters to desist from utilizing his identity to swindle people.

One of Nigeria’s most popular men of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has once again, cried out to fraudsters who use his Facebook page to dupe innocent people, telling them to desist from such devilish acts or face the wrath of God.
The powerful preacher, who has in the past been a victim of hackers, pleaded with the dubious people to stop using his name to dupe people of their hard earned money.
In an emotion laden statement on his Facebook page, Pastor Adeboye wrote: “Please, please, be careful; don't let anyone defraud you in my name or using my name. I have just one official Facebook account and any other one people are using to demand money and other material things are fake. Always double check every message by emailing us at contact@eaadeboye.com.
“Also, I didn't have any dream about no one making it to heaven, as some people are sending around by text or email. Please test every spirit as the bible as instructed us to.
God bless you and happy new month in Jesus name.”
We hope people will now be perceptive in responding to these fraudsters. Papa has spoken.
