This year in my opinion wasnt particularly great for movies, there however was Thor 2: The Dark World which was a great superhero movie and unfortunately thats it for Marvel Superhero's this year. However not to worry, Marvel Studios will release three of the greatest most anticipated sequels of their box office hit movies come year 2014.
1. X-men : Days Of Future Past

This is a sequel to the X-men First Class Movie (2011), the cast includes most of the cast of first class ( Jennifer Lawrence, her real life boyfriend Nicolas Hoult, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender etc) as well as the original X-men cast (Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellan etc)
2. Captain America : The Winter Soldier

The first Captain America movie was a terrible movie for me considering i had high hopes for it, but seeing that the Avenger Movie was a huge success we can only hope that they have improved upon their movie making skills and awe us next year. Chris Evans remains the hero and Scarlett Johansson and Samuel Jackson will also be cast for the upcoming movie next April.
3. The Amazing Spiderman 2

The amazing spiderman movie came out in 2012 with Emma Stone and real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield, it was undisputedly one of my best movies that year. As opposed the the series with Tobey Maguire, i think Andrew Garfield played a better Peter Parker/ Spiderman superhero. Also changing focus from Mary Jane Watson to Gwen Stacy was an excellent move. In the upcoming sequel, the lead stars will remain and Jamie Foxx will be an addition to the cast as he plays a villian; Electro.

The feature is based on real events including her real life love interest, Jim Ikye and her brothers, Majeed Sidiku Buari and Jameel Sidiku Buari.
The plot of the movie is woven around Imogen Brown, (Nadia Buari), a successful business woman who has it all; an incredibly beautiful daughter, a great home, a diamond business empire and a handsome boyfriend.
Unknown to her, her envious boyfriend, Tyler Graham, (Jim Iyke), who had been having an affair with two of Imogen’s closest friends, was only interested in her wealth.
After many failed attempts at persuading Imogen to marry him so he could take over her company, he decides to walk out on their six-year relationship.
In trying to get over the pain of heartbreak, she meets Stanley Coleman who introduces her to all kinds of drugs and, as a result, she becomes an addict. The movie also starred Ghanaian midfielder, Kelvin Prince Boateng.

Dapo Oyebanjo, our very own D’Banj, is moving up at an alarming rate and with this speed, he looks set for the sky.
‘Bangalee’ has just got himself signed on to one of the world’s top record labels, Sony Music Entertainment, and the deal is said to be worth millions of dollars.
Being the sharp business man that he is, the ‘Koko Master’ made sure his kid brother, Kayswitch, and other upcoming acts on his personal record label, are somehow included in the deal.
The company, in a release, acknowledges the fact that ‘Oliver Twist’ has actually been signed on by them.

For those who think ‘O.B.O’, David Adeleke, (Davido,) is all about himself, here is another reason to have a rethink because the hip hop singer who clocked 21 years yesterday, showed another side of him by celebrating his day with orphans and some school pupils.
The ‘Skelewu’ master took the pupils of Ikeja Government Primary School, Lagos State, by surprise when he dropped by the school and presented the kids with stationery and electronics to aid their learning.
After he was through with the school, he paid a visit to the Heart of Gold Children’s Hospice and the Heritage Homes Orphanage, where he showered the orphans with gift items. It was a teary eyed Davido that played with the kids, sang and danced with them as well as taking pictures with the kids who were thrilled by his visit.
With this act, Davido has surely endeared himself into the hearts of his fans as well as gaining more admirers.
