HOW TO REMOVE VIRUS FROM YOUR PHONE USING PC

Oh boy!! I guess you visited some bad website
while browsing online with your phone, huh, huh?
Well, there may be a way. It's not 100%
guaranteed, though.
1. Update your anti-virus software. Make sure you
have good software, like Norton, Avira, or AVG.
2. Go to your anti-virus options and make sure to
select (or turn on) HEURISTIC virus scanning
options. Here is why: Most mobile (phone) viruses
are still unknown and there are no anti-viruses for
phones only (come on, not really, they are not
that good, but you can try). If you are already
infected with a virus on the phone, mobile anti-
virus might not cut it out.
For example, if using Avira free edition, go to:
CONFIGURATION, then SCANNER, then the + for
SCAN, then click on HEURISTIC, check
MACROVIRUS HEURISTIC, then check ENABLE
AHeAD, then select HIGH. Hit OK and close it out.
Other anti-viruses have other options, but make
sure whatever anti-virus scanner you use has a
Heuristic capability.
3. Go to "My Computer". When your phone is
hooked up to a PC (after being properly installed
with software that comes with phone), look for
the "Removable Device" (it's a non-hrad drive,
non-optical drive) and run a full scan of the
device (phone).
Hopefully, it will detect the virus (if any exists). If
not, you might want to try other anti-viruses, but
I doubt you will have any luck without having a
Heuristic capability.
